sharing a contemporary classic lifestyle through fashion

Week One = Done

Hey y’all! I cannot believe that my first week of college is already over! This week has been so dragged out, with all of my classes and schedule changes. It somewhat feels like I have not gotten any sleep (even tho me and my roommate have been taking naps every day), but I am having so much fun.

I think the weirdest part about going over the handbook for college was that there is no dress code. Obviously we cannot go around wearing next to nothing, but there was no lectures on not wearing crop tops or our shorts being too short. My favorite part of getting ready was being able to pick out an outfit in the morning without having to worry if it would meet standards. So, I thought I would share with all of you my outfits for this week!

Day 1: Today was everyones first day of classes and I wanted to go with something that stood out just a little. I wore my favorite romper from Altar’d State that has bunches of different colors and patterns mixed through it. I also paired it with my favorite pair of sandals and these cute floral earrings that I purchased from the Kate Spade Outlet.

This was what I sent my mom as my “first day of school” picture.

Day 2: This day was a little bit of a mess for me. While having to get up at eight to go and try and switch my schedule around, I wanted to look cute but not super stiff. Reaching into my closer, I opted for a stretchy high-waisted jean skirt from American Eagle and my favorite grey tee. I also wore my black leather vans and my infamous Kate Spade Pearl Earrings.

Day 3: Finally, it was Friday. I was quite honestly exhausted by this day and Erie was somewhat cold so I told myself it was okay to wear a little bit more of a casual outfit. The shirt that I wore is one of my current favorites at American Eagle, along with my high waisted jeans. Vans are the same as yesterdays and I also threw on this little sweater that I found in the clearance section at Abercrombie & Fitch.

If you could not tell, I was very excited to have finally finished my classes 🙂

All in all, that is it! I am ready to find my groove because right now I am ever so slightly drowning in homework haha. Other than the workload, school has honestly been such an amazing change. I have honestly yet to be disappointed, and if y’all have any questions about college or applying to colleges just let me know!

Xoxo, Ris
