Styled Up

Hey y’all! I hope everyone is staying at home and safe during these tough times. Like many, my university has moved to all online classes. While the adjustment has not been all that hard, putting an effort into how I look has. I normally roll out of bed ten minutes before the video chat and hate changing out of my pjs. Yet, I am getting kind of sick of wearing the same sweatshirt everyday so I put together five camera ready looks to wear for your video calls for class or work!

For this first look, I threw on one of my favorite flows tops. Its loose fit makes it easy to wear while sitting at my desk all day. Of course, I wore this with my favorite pair of pearl earrings and a green Kendra Scott necklace. Adding a dainty necklace can draw down your face shape, giving the perfect illusion for video calls.

This look is a little more simple for me. I paired a solid colored top with my favorite jean jacket and the perfect blue earrings to match. If y’all wanted to style like this for class, a green or pink color combo would be so cute!

This look is for those warmer days we are starting to have. My room is always the hottest in our house, so I have found myself wearing tank tops whenever the sun is out. Make sure if you wear a v-neck, the cut is not too deep. The one on this is just high enough that you can still see it, which is ideal for on screen. I just put on a pair of statement earrings and a pink Kendra Scott necklace to brighten up the look.

When you want to feel more dressy, this is definitely the look. This outfit continues to give me “Roman Holiday” vibes. This top is one of my absolute favorites with the puff sleeves and eyelets. The headband is actually my favorite scarf I got from Lilly Pulitzer earlier this year and the earrings I ordered from Kendra Scott for my birthday match perfectly with the blues. You can tell I am ready for the beach once quarantine is over.

This last look is seriously so lazy. It looks dressy but it is honestly so simple to style. I chose a plain black tee, but you can chose any neutral color. Then I picked a pair of statement earrings, a matching scrunchie, and voila! Super cute outfit with minimal effort!

BONUS! – I wear all of these outfits with leggings or pajama pants hehe

If there is one thing I would like to leave you with is to please, PLEASE stay home! There are plenty of things to do around the house and so many things to do in your backyard. Go print some coloring pages, play dress up in your own closet, and wash your hands. I hope y’all have a great week and stay safe! Love y’all.

Xoxo, Ris
